Booking Information and Terms & Conditions
Please read all below, as by booking you are accepting these Terms & Conditions.
Please contact us by either Telephone (01229 717151 or 07733 085093) or Email enquiry@eskmealshouse.co.uk to confirm that the house is available on the dates you require. We can then hold the booking provisionally for five days to give you time to send your payment.
Accepted payment methods are, Credit or Debit Card with PayPal, Cheque or Bank Transfer. N.B. If paying by PayPal, we must add an extra 3% to payments, as this is the amount charged to us by PayPal.
We request a 20% deposit for reservations. Balance of the total holiday cost is required
eight weeks before the arrival date. We suggest that you take out holiday insurance
in case you need to cancel as all monies paid are non-
We do not request a security deposit, however guests are responsible for leaving the accommodation in good order and in a clean condition. Guests undertake to pay for any damage or losses incurred during occupation. Please report any breakages or damages to ourselves at the end of your stay.
Eskmeals House has a cot and high chair available. NB please bring your own cot linen as this is not provided.
Bed linen is provided and all beds are made-
During the Winter period, the Central Heating is set to come on between the hours
of 7:45am -
Please notify ourselves of any omissions, concerns or complaints, during the period of your rental, as we are unable to consider or resolve any matters after your stay.
We are unable to accept any liability for loss, damage or injury caused to personal belongings, motor vehicles or persons as a result of your stay. The holidaymakers’ vehicles and their contents and the holidaymakers’ personal belongings are left at Eskmeals House during (and after) the period of the holiday, entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker.
No liability can be accepted and no compensation paid by ourselves, where the holidaymaker or those in the holidaymakers’ party, or their personal property, suffer any loss, damage, injury, disappointment, inconvenience or otherwise, or where the performance or prompt performance of any obligations by ourselves are prevented or affected by ‘Force Majeure’. In this instance ‘Force Majeure’ means any event which we could not have foreseen or avoided including (but not limited to), war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, disease, non availability of transport services, interruption to services / utilities and all similar events outside of our control.
We provide 3 x 50kg bags of coal per reservation. Sorry, we do not provide logs. If you require more coal or logs, these are available locally at Holmrook Service Station (01946 724247) approximately 8 miles from the house.
We reserve the right to make alterations to these terms & conditions without notice.
